I've often times been working on the sled, car, bike etc. I've always thought buying the right tools as a good investment so it might cost me a new pair of shoes for Mrs. I'm going to buy the 1/4" pneumatic gun and then I'll be looking all over the house for things to rivet.

I would buy a cheap manual rivet gun but then I wouldn't be able to use stainless steel rivets. The riveter stores four nosepieces (3/32 in., 1/8 in., 5/32 in., and 3/16 in.) and a wrench inside the guns handle. I think I'll also need to buy some fittings to adapt my air hose to the riveter. Can I stop the compressor at say 100PSI, hook up the riveter and it will have enough psi to shoot a rivet one time?. My cheap Husky air compressor is 150psi and I can't set the pressure lower. The others are without any obstructions so no worries on them. I have done numerous and this has worked best for me. It makes it much easier than trying to hold the washers with a tool. On that support piece that's against the frame super glue the back up washers on it and shoot the rivets.
